Tony Mizrahi

Tony is a Marine. He served nearly ten years in the Marine Corps and the Department of Defense, embarking on highly dangerous and classified missions in enemy territory.

When Tony finished his deployment, he struggled to adjust. The transition to civilian life was a shock. Life outside the Marine Corps felt foreign to Tony. For almost two years, Tony fought to find a new identity and struggled to earn a living without the aid of his Marine Corps uniform. The job hunt was demoralizing. Despite applying to numerous law enforcement agencies, he was repeatedly told to “cool off” before he could be considered for a job. His extensive security expertise seemed overshadowed by the pervasive stereotype of PTSD-afflicted veterans. Employers were wary of his potential.

Faced with closed doors, Tony took matters into his own hands. In 2011, he founded his own company, MBSC Group, a security firm dedicated to providing services and employment for fellow veterans. MBSC grew, employing approximately 50 veterans at its peak. The company offered comprehensive training in baton, mace, taser, firearms, and guard card certification, with Tony himself becoming a preeminent instructor. For a time, MBSC thrived, but the pandemic forced its closure in 2021, leaving Tony back at square one, yearning to help veterans without a platform.

Tony, never one to give up, channeled his frustration into a new venture—MB Tactical. This new company aimed to reach as many veterans as possible, offering free guard training to all post-9/11 veterans. MB Tactical quickly became a beacon of hope, for Tony and others, featuring dedicated classrooms, ample shooting space, and a cadre of Tony-trained instructors who genuinely cared about their students.

As a former combat veteran, Tony understood the profound impact of a helping hand. Together, Tony and MB Tactical embodied the motto, “If veterans don’t care for veterans, no one will.” Through this initiative, Tony found a way to continue his mission, offering training and support to veterans at no cost, helping them transition into civilian roles with the skills and confidence they needed. At the helm of MB Tactical, Tony’s journey continues today. No longer wearing the uniform, Tony remains a Marine and is unwavering in his commitment to assist and mentor fellow veterans.
